Postgraduate Programme in Creative Practice
Foundation Diploma in Art & Design
The work on show is a reflection of the mix of creative activity that takes place at artpocket studios. The show contains work from the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, Art Direction and Postgraduate Programme in Creative Practice. At artpocket students are encouraged and supported to follow their personal creative path whatever stage they are at in their creative career.
Students attending the artpocket studios can explore their interests through a range of 2D and 3D media including painting, drawing, printmaking, textiles, 3D, book binding, illustration and animation.
Materials and processes are manipulated to find a visual language to communicate the individuals experience and concern.
Students have been working on a range of projects, some works are concerned with the natural world, making sense of the environment around them, some have taken on more political themes, and others have been more reflective and personal exploring ideas of existence and human interaction.
