venue
In January 2017 we moved to our new venue in the heart of the historical Shoe Quarter of Norwich city centre.
Situated within the St. Georges Works development, Lion House is a creative hub, home to Hackspace, The Royal Drawing School, Textilia and a collection of independent artist and designer studios. Creative education and community are at the heart of the space. We are nestled in the 'Arts Quarter', just a few minutes walk from Norwich University of the Arts, Norwich Lanes, Magdalen Street and the multitude of independent shops, cafes and galleries. Artpocket has two large, light and airy studio spaces and a dedicated printmaking studio. We are well equipped for all areas of creative activity. Visit us:
Second Floor Lion House Muspole Street Norwich NR3 1DJ Please get in touch prior to your visit so that we can ensure a member of the team is available to meet with you. |
The entrance lobby can be found through the courtyard at the back of the building. Enter via the large blue gates and the door is on the right.
You will find us on the top floor, we apologise but unfortunately there are no lifts in the building for those that may struggle with mobility. Car parking: We do not have visitor car parking, the nearest car park is St Andrews on Duke Street, which is just a few minutes walk. Buses & trains: There are good transport links into the City centre from all areas of the county and country. The train station is approximately 15 minutes walk. The nearest bus stops are on Magdalen Street or Castle Meadow, both approximately 5 minutes walk. |
