AND OUT OF MY MIND
Wednesay 11th March, 2020
Artpocket, Lion House, Muspole Street
“There is something about walking which stimulates and enlivens my thoughts. When I stay in one place I can hardly think at all; my body has to be on the move to set my mind going.” - Jean-Jacques Rousseau
Using our lived environment as a stimulus, along with the actions of walking and creating, this workshop provides the perfect opportunity to learn ways of finding inspiration and generating ideas to explore your personal creativity.
Following a mindful walk around Norwich, you will learn the basics of papermaking and collaging in a workshop led by local artist Meghan Smith.
Sensible walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothes, we will be outside walking for approximately 45 minutes.
PUBLIB is a new online arts resource for art that engages the community and it's audiences on a deeper level.
Through interviews, events and exhibitions it aims to open up the discourse on socially engaged art and questions how experiencing art and culture can benefit communities.
