Join Artpocket for a series of fun workshops taking a creative response to to the fantastic collection of artifacts at The Mo Museum, Sheringham.
Throughout this short course we will explore a range of drawing, mark making, printmaking and collage techniques and make a series of artworks to take home.
Week 1: Nets & Knots - Looking at rope, nets, buoys, floats and other fishing related objects we will create textural, layered images using the exciting method of gelli-plate printmaking
Week 2: Apothecary - Exploring the variety of shapes, sizes colours and textures of the chemists menagerie of bottles, we will use collograph techniques to develop a series of unique prints.
Week 3: Tools of the Trade - Using the boat makers tools as a starting point, we will play with drawing, mark making and collage to create a series of abstract images.
